Careers Fair 10 March 2021

Bringing job seekers and employers together to help re-start the UK economy

2020 has been an unprecedented year with many challenges for both individuals and businesses. Whilst there is optimism as we approach 2021, unemployment statistics suggest that 2.6 million people could be out of work by mid-2021* as a result of the pandemic.

At Santander, we're keen to play our part in helping to re-start the UK economy and support individuals getting back into employment.

On 10 March 2021 we will be hosting a virtual careers fair to connect job seekers with employers who have vacancies to fill. That’s where you come in!

Whatever sector you're in, if you're planning to recruit in 2021; for newly created roles as a result of transformation during the pandemic; you're looking to take on an apprentice; or fill other vacancies in your business we’d be delighted if you could join us at the careers fair to promote your business and the opportunities you have available.

To be part of the careers fair, please complete this form to register your interest and we will send you an exhibitor pack which will need to be completed and returned by 18 February 2021.

The careers fair will be open to anyone seeking employment and, as well as advertising jobs to this audience, your business will benefit from a wealth of content and support aimed at helping businesses in these challenging times.

We'll be focusing on some key areas at the event:

  • Green jobs and jobs with purpose. The UK Government has set up a new Green Jobs Taskforce to help drive the transition to a high-skill, low carbon economy to reach a target of net zero emissions by 2050.  Join us to find out more about the opportunities and support available for transitioning industries.
  • Diversity and inclusion as business as usual. Find out more about how being committed to employing a diverse and inclusive workforce, marketing to minority group customers or engaging with diverse communities or minority businesses in your supply chains and networks as part of your strategy could offer benefits to your business.
  • Apprenticeships. The virtual careers fair will showcase the many benefits apprenticeships bring to UK businesses, individuals and the economy.

We hope you’ll join us and be part of the Santander virtual careers fair!
